I'm Playin' in the Rain...

Introducing my wonderful, beautiful, sensational, gas-guzzling mode of transportation:

I'm either going to name him Branwell Bronte ("B.B." for short; Branwell Bronte, as in the often forgotten brother of the Bronte sisters) or Alejandro (I heard the song on the radio and I kinda like it).

The only reason my legs are literally sparkling in this picture is because, during this entire "photo shoot" it was raining. That and the fact that I am scarily pale. I need the sun to come back and change that for me.

I wish my bouquet were clearer, but since it isn't, it consisted of honeysuckle, daisies, and more random pink flowers. I like the contrast of the flowers and the girly dress with the jean jacket and the truck; it's girly-girl meets hillbilly girl. But hey--that's me.

Buckling Under the Pressure

Examine carefully your favorite pair of wedges--on each side of what should be an exquisitely adorable shoe, you will see what many will consider a buckle (depending on the style). Though somewhat overlooked, the buckle is essential to your wonderful set of shoes; without it, you would walk around in a continual state of clumsiness, incapable of encasing your feet within the glorious shoe work of art. Thus, the buckle brings a sense of security and joy to your life, enabling you to wear wedges for hours on end.

Okay, okay. The importance of the buckle is not the true reason for our blog name; it emerged from a blend of our two names, as R. explained in the previous post. But, since my shoes for today actually had a buckle, I thought I would take the opportunity to expound upon its wonders. But moving on. As R. explained, I love all things British and literary, lime green (all green, really), and of course, the impeccable Rob Pattinson (which ties in to my love of the British).

My outfit today, however, encompasses nothing British, literary, or Pattinsonian. I dressed for a warm summer day, only to be greeted by cloudy skies and chilly winds (which explains the reason for my indoor photo shoot in my terribly cluttered room). Please note the all-important buckle in the third photo.
